Job summary

Arlington Heights Park District seeks a Youth Basketball Scorekeeper to operate the electronic scoreboard, record game results, and help create a fun, positive experience for young athletes. This is a part-time role with Saturday morning and afternoon shifts and Sunday shifts, totaling about 4–12 hours per week.

The fall season runs from late October through mid-December, and the winter season from early January through mid-March, with training dates to be announced.

Qualifications

• High school student, high school graduate, or GED.
• Minimum age of 15.
• 1–2 years of experience keeping score at sporting events or similar.
• Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate the electronic scoreboard during games.
• Keep accurate game records and scores.
• Contribute to a fun, positive experience for young athletes.
