Job summary

Naperville Park District is seeking a part-time Youth Basketball Scorekeeper to serve as the on-site representative during league play. You will maintain the official scorebook for all games and act as liaison among players, spectators, coaches, referees, and the Youth Basketball Coordinator.

Responsibilities include timely game-result reporting, accident reporting, and ensuring all district property is secured after each shift. Basic basketball knowledge and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift light/medium objects weighing up to 20-30 pounds.
• Reliable and punctual with ability to work weeknights and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the official scorebook for league games.
• Act as the on-site representative during league play.
• Report game results to the Youth Basketball Coordinator promptly.
• Complete accident reports in a timely manner.
• Ensure park district property is secured at the end of the shift.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training clinics.
