The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking an Art Instructor to teach art classes, develop curriculum, and build collaborative partnerships within the community. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts preferred or equivalent experience.
• Two years’ teaching experience required; five years preferred.
• Evidence of portfolio shown.
• Evidence of experience in curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Teach art classes and develop curriculum and assessments.
• Establish collaborative partnerships within the community.
• Recruit and outreach as directed by the Fine Arts Coordinator.
• Instruct in proper care and use of tools and equipment.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and manage class setup.
