Job summary

The YMCA of Delaware is seeking a Program Specialist (Focus Archery) at Brandywine to coach youth in archery and related activities, delivering inclusive, age-appropriate instruction and fostering a positive, respectful environment.

This part-time role includes coordinating schedules, ensuring safety and equipment readiness, and communicating with families; evening or weekend hours may be required based on the program timetable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of youth program management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach youth program participants in archery and related activities.
• Implement diverse youth programs in sports, arts, STEM and archery.
• Coordinate scheduling of all program activities and ensure safety and equipment readiness.
• Communicate schedules, goals and expectations with participants, parents and guardians.
• Maintain facilities and equipment to high safety and quality standards.
