Job summary

LifeSTEPS in San Jose, CA seeks a part-time Program Coordinator to design, implement, and coordinate after-school programs for youth aged 5 to 17 within our housing communities.

Under the direction of the Regional Director of Social Services, you will provide enriching educational activities, supervise classrooms, and foster a safe, supportive environment that helps residents move toward stability and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of relevant experience in social services.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Valid California driver's license and insured vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Empower children from low-income families through after-school programs.
• Provide homework help and academic enrichment in a safe environment.
• Encourage resilience and personal development in youth.
