Embark Behavioral Health in Stafford and Needville, TX seeks an Addiction Recovery Counselor to support young adults aged 18–28 through substance use recovery, emotional regulation, and attachment healing. You will provide individual and group therapy within a multidisciplinary team in a residential and transitional care setting.

The role requires a current LCDC license, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• Current LCDC license in good standing with the Texas Department of State Health Services.
• NPI & CAQH registration preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage young adults.
• Ability to work independently and meet service/documentation expectations.
• Understanding of family systems and group therapy facilitation.
• Experience in substance use and mental health recovery.

Aufgaben

• Provide individual counseling sessions for clients in the CD track.
• Facilitate weekly recovery groups and support meetings.
• Transport clients to AA/NA meetings and other community events.
• Plan and lead weekend recovery functions and experiential activities.
• Maintain a flexible schedule for group sessions, individual therapy, and weekend programs.
• Participate in weekly treatment team and clinical meetings.
• Complete assessments and maintain documentation in a web-based system.
• Support clients through discharge planning.
