Our employer sponsor is seeking an energetic and proactive individual to join a youth development team as a Youth Activity Coordinator apprentice. This full-time paid apprenticeship position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while learning on the job and developing professional skills in the education and community support sector in northern Hamilton County.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate resources and programs addressing the physical and emotional needs of students and their families.
  • Design and implement engaging activities and programs.
  • Support and collaborate with staff and community stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication and documentation.
  • Supervise after-school program activities.
  • Foster positive relationships among all parties involved.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with youth/students.
  • Experience supervising groups.
  • Experience planning and implementing structured activities.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and software.
  • Strong initiative and action-oriented skills.
  • Confidence in public speaking.
  • Availability to work M-Th, 8:30am - 5:30pm; F 8:30am - 12:30pm.
