Job summary

Kids After Hours Inc. provides after-school childcare and summer programs and is seeking dedicated staff to support room setup, supervise children, and lead activities in a safe environment.

You'll organize crafts, nature activities, songs, and games, interact positively with children, greet parents during drop-off and pickup, and report any concerns to the site Director while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience working with children.
• Ability to lead, plan, and organize activities.
• Strong teamwork and supervision skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up/clean-up of the room and snack prep.
• Organize, label, and replace equipment and toys.
• Provide hands-on supervision and ensure children's safety.
• Lead small and large group activities, e.g., crafts and games.
• Interact positively with children and model respectful behavior.
• Greet parents at drop-off/pick-up and communicate about the day.
• Follow safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
• Report to the site Director and complete required education hours.
