Columbia Housing Authority seeks a Van Driver to transport youth to and from home, school, and program activities. This part-time role supports tutoring, mentoring, and after-school programs while upholding safety standards and a positive example for youth.

The position requires a Missouri Class E license with a clean driving record, flexibility for afternoons, and the ability to complete background checks and health screenings. Bondability and insurability are required.

Qualifications

• Experience driving large vehicles or shuttles is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent or two years' experience with youth; or equivalent.
• Must be bondable and insurable.
• Must hold a Missouri Class E license with an excellent driving record.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain direct deposit banking.
• Must pass pre-employment checks including background, drug screen, TB test and safety registry.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe transportation for program participants to and from home, school, and sites.
• Maintain program files and required documentation.
• Inspect vehicle according to procedures and schedule.
• Assist with tutoring, mentoring and after‑school activities.
• Model positive behavior for youth and maintain a good driving record.
• Follow safety procedures and driving practices at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
