Qualifications

• Valid Maryland driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle
• Acceptable driving record per League driver qualifications
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening
• Ability to successfully complete required onboarding and compliance requirements
• Maintain required driver qualifications throughout employment
• Reliable transportation to and from assigned work locations
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct
• Ability to communicate effectively with youth, families, staff, and supervisors

Responsibilities

• Safely transport Youth Autism Services participants using a League‑approved vehicle.
• Follow all applicable Maryland motor vehicle laws, policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and ensure safety equipment is present and functional.
• Assist participants in entering and exiting the vehicle safely and confirm proper seating.
• Maintain professional boundaries and communicate with parents, guardians, and staff.
• Complete required transportation documentation accurately and on time.
