Job summary

Northern Rivers Family of Services in New York seeks a Program Assistant to support the Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program from referral through discharge. You will report to the Program Director and work primarily onsite, ensuring patient‑centered care and coordinated service delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining medical records, supporting daily staff communication, billing reporting, referrals, intake and discharge processes, audits, and data compilation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Three years of related experience preferred.
• Valid NYS driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain staff safety and monitoring system.
• Manage medical records and support daily staff communication.
• Facilitate monthly billing reporting and insurance eligibility tasks.
• Oversee referral, intake, treatment, and discharge processes.
• Compile program data and audits for accuracy and completion.
