Responsibilities

Lead teachers coordinate daily classroom operations, plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities, work directly with children and parents to provide quality service, and foster a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Completed state-required pre-service training.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and multi-task.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; for Infant and Toddler teachers, ability to lift infants safely.
• Meet background check requirements.
