Job summary

The Center for Human Development (CHD) in Hartford, CT seeks a Young Adult Services Coach to support adults in residential and community settings. You will supervise coaching clients, assist with daily activities, implement treatment plans using Motivational Interviewing, provide transportation, and help develop self-esteem, social skills, and resiliency while ensuring policy-aligned service delivery.

This full-time, on-site role offers a starting wage of $20.00 per hour plus a comprehensive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with psychiatric disorders or co-occurring population preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Good writing and verbal skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise coaching clients and assist with daily activities through fieldwork
• Implement treatment plans using Motivational Interviewing; assess needs and guide growth
• Provide transportation and engage in activities that build self-esteem, social skills, and resiliency
• Document client interactions and maintain regular communication with clinicians and the Manager
• Ensure service delivery aligns with agency policies
