• 5+ years of leadership in operations, project management, or ministry operations.
• Experience leading leaders and developing staff or volunteers.

• Lead the operational strategy for the Young Adults ministry and remove complexity.
• Own the YA gatherings plan and delegate execution to volunteers.
• Develop and oversee project plans, timelines and workflows.
• Coach the Guest Experience Leader and volunteers across operations areas.
• Collaborate with Production, Creative and Communications for environments and digital strategy.
• Improve communication, scheduling, planning and volunteer engagement systems.
• Oversee logistics, calendars, venues, vendor relationships and on-day execution.
• Manage the YA budget in partnership with the Young Adults Pastor.
• Coordinate with Southeast support departments to ensure collaboration.
• Identify challenges early and implement proactive solutions.

The Ops Leader oversees the Guest Experience Leader and holds the dotted-line partnership with the Social Media Manager for the Young Adults team.

The Ops Leader oversees the Guest Experience Leader and holds the dotted-line partnership with the Social Media Manager for the Young Adults team.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the operational strategy of the Young Adults ministry, creating systems that support healthy growth while removing unnecessary complexity.
• Own the operational plan for YA gatherings, delegating execution to the Guest Experience Leader and volunteer team leads while holding every ministry area accountable for readiness.
• Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and workflows for ministry initiatives, events, and special gatherings.
• Develop and coach the Guest Experience Leader and volunteer team who recruit, equip, and lead operations teams across Setup & Tear Down, Parking, Safety, Logistics and program support.
• Set direction with Production, Creative, and Communications partners including the YA Worship Leader and the Social Media Manager for environments, guest experiences and digital strategy that reflect the vision and culture of the Young Adults ministry.
• Build and improve systems for communication, scheduling, planning, and volunteer engagement that help the ministry operate with excellence.
• Set the standards for and oversee ministry logistics, calendars, event planning, room setups, vendor relationships and equipment needs with day-of execution carried by volunteer leaders and support departments.
• Oversee the Young Adults budget, purchasing, and ministry resources in partnership with the Young Adults Pastor.
• Partner with southeast support departments including Production, Security, Facilities, Kids and Broadcast to ensure strong collaboration across the church.
• Identify operational challenges before they become problems and proactively develop solutions that allow ministry to flourish.

• A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who takes ownership, follows through and enjoys building new systems and processes.

Our Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in operations, project management, event leadership, ministry operations or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading leaders, developing staff or key volunteers who in their turn lead their own teams.
• Strong proficiency with planning, scheduling and organizing systems.
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church or willing to become one.
