Job summary

Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley seeks a dedicated case manager to support participants in maintaining employment and improving their quality of life. You will provide training, readiness, and social skills while guiding participants through tailored plans and coordinating referrals with Goodwill staff.

You will maintain records, advocate with employers, and connect participants with community resources. Flexibility and commitment to the mission are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Service related field is required or experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Two years’ experience in vocational assessment, working with disability populations, job placement, and/or case management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide participants with training, job-readiness, and social skills.
• Act as a resource and guide, serve as a role model and mentor to participants.
• Assist participants to maintain employment and improve quality of life.
• Assess referrals and establish candidacy for programs.
• Coordinate participant referrals with referring Goodwill staff.
• Develop and coordinate written plans with participants.
• Maintain activity reports and case records for each program.
• Link participants to community resources as needed.
• Advocate for participants with employers and community organizations.
• Provide job development and retention services as needed.
• Maintain contact with participants and employers, including face-to-face meetings.
• Work non-traditional hours to support participant employment.
• Refer internal referrals when outside funding is not available.
• Provide data to Quality Assurance to track outcomes.
• Comply with agency policies and safety standards.
