Job summary

Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley is seeking dedicated staff to support individuals in daily living skills and community activities. You will teach, model appropriate behaviors, and implement person-centered activities tailored to each participant’s needs and goals.

The role requires caring, patience, and strong communication with participants, guardians, and service providers, with an emphasis on safety and respectful engagement in all activities.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• One year experience in Human Services preferred.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the agency liability insurer.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills.
• Teach skills and model behavior to improve independence and responsible behavior.
• Implement activities that are functional, person-centered, and community-inclusive.
• Work with diverse individuals with varying levels of skills and needs.
• Promote community integration and participant choices.
• Maintain program documentation and communicate with Supervisors about progress.
