Job summary

rabbittransit seeks a driver/operator in York, PA to transport passengers on fixed routes, perform inspections, and assist riders with mobility devices.

Requirements include CDL Class A or Passenger Endorsement P with Air Brake restriction lifted; Non CDL Driver option available. Open availability for all operating hours; home nightly with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or BW with Passenger Endorsement P and Air Brake restriction lifted required.
• If you do not have these completely, you may apply as a Non CDL Driver.
• Open availability for all operating hours, including weekends and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Assist passengers with wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Receive and account for fares; operate radios and follow procedures.
• Adhere to emergency procedures and supervise daily tasks.
• Provide safe, courteous transportation and reliable service.

Vehicle Pick Up/Drop Off Location: 415 N. Zarfoss Dr. York, PA

Pay:Start $24.30/hour, increases to $27.00/hour after driving on own for 90 days. WEEKLY paycheck. Great benefit package! Home nightly!

Requirements - Must have this COMPLETELY at time of application for this position:

• Already have CDL Class A or BWITHPassenger Endorsement ("P" Endorsement),ANDAir Brake Restriction Lifted (No "L", No "Z" and No "N" Restrictions on CDL). If do not have this completely, can apply for Non CDL Driver.
• Open availability to work during ANY of our operating hours, Sat & Sun 4:30 AM - 11:30 PM -AND- Mon thru Fri 4:30 AM -12:15 AM, as schedule will fall sometime in these days/times

Responsibilities include completing inspections, maintaining accurate records, assisting passengers with wheelchairs and other mobility devices, receiving and accounting for fares, using radio communications, following emergency procedures, and completing other activities assigned by the Operations Supervisor/ Site Manager.
