Job summary

Klondike Cheese Company is seeking a Production Assistant to support yogurt production operations and data management. This role focuses on maintaining production and inventory records, data entry in ERP, and assisting with scheduling and material tracking to support efficient production.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical aptitude with ability to analyze production-related data.
• Experience with ERP systems and related business software preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Outlook and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify production orders, related materials, and production information for accuracy.
• Perform data entry and maintenance in the ERP system; identify discrepancies and take corrective action.
• Compile, post, summarize, and file production, purchasing, and inventory records and reports.
• Assist with development and maintenance of production schedules; back up the Yogurt Production Scheduler as needed.
• Communicate schedules and requirements with yogurt make and packaging departments; coordinate with shipping and others to resolve issues.
