The YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a dedicated Yoga Instructor to lead safe, engaging yoga classes at the Toby Wells YMCA. You will greet members, demonstrate proper form, modify poses for all levels, and help participants achieve their wellbeing goals within a supportive community.
Requirements include Yoga Alliance certified instructor (RYT-200), 1+ year of class leading experience, and CPR/First Aid certification. Training completes within 90 days of hire.
The Yoga Instructor is responsible for building positive relationships among members, participants, volunteers, and staff by actively greeting and providing excellent customer service, guidance, and leadership. The instructor creates and leads Yoga exercise classes in a safe, effective, and timely manner, appropriate to the level of the participants in class, to enhance physical, mental, and spiritual health.
