Job summary

Equinox's Nashville, TN locations are seeking Boxing Instructors. Deliver the Equinox Experience, adapt intensity, monitor effort, start and end on time, teach regularly, and coordinate with the Group Fitness Manager.

Candidates must hold a current boxing certification, have experience teaching, CPR/AED, knowledge of anatomy, and be energetic, friendly, and eager to grow professionally. This role offers a competitive salary and member benefits.

Qualifications

• Boxing instructors must possess a current certification in their discipline.
• Experience teaching boxing or related fitness classes is required.
• Must possess and maintain CPR/AED certification.
• Must be well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and modifications.
• Eagerness to learn and continue professional development.
• Must be friendly, vibrant, outgoing, and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class.
• Adhere to class descriptions and adjust intensity for participants as needed.
• Continuously monitor exercise intensity throughout class.
• Ensure classes start and end on time.
• Teach classes regularly and minimize substitutions.
• Communicate with Group Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and subbing.

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to our members in each class;
