Job summary

Equinox Nashville is seeking Yoga Instructors to lead classes and provide the Equinox Experience to our members. In this role you will adapt class intensity, ensure timely starts and finishes, and maintain a regular teaching schedule while coordinating with the Group Fitness Manager.

Requirements include yoga certification and CPR/AED, plus strong communication and a passion for health and high-performance living.

Qualifications

• Current certification in yoga discipline.

• Knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and exercise modifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class.

Job Description

Equinox's locations inNashville, TNare seeking is currently seekingYoga Instructors. The position entails the following responsibilities. This is not a complete description, and certain responsibilities may additionally be presented along the course of employment:

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to our members in each class;
• Adhere to the description of the class and modify the intensity for participants when necessary;
• Ensure class begins and ends on time;
• Teach respective classes on a regular basis and keep subbing to a minimum;
• Communicate with Group Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and subbing

Qualifications

The successful candidate should have the following experience and qualifications:

• YogaInstructorsmust possess a currentcertificationin their discipline;
• Have experienceteaching;
• Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification;
• Must be well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and exercise modifications for all populations;
• Must be eager to learn and continue professional development and education;
• Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing;
• Must have access to regular email and phone communication.
