Job summary

Missouri Valley Family Ymca is seeking a part-time Lifeguard to oversee pool safety and provide a positive aquatics experience for members and guests. This role includes guarding, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a clean pool area in accordance with YMCA standards.

Applicants should hold current Red Cross Lifeguard certification (or be in progress) with lifeguard experience preferred. Weekend shifts earn an extra hourly rate, and the YMCA offers free certification classes upon

The YMCA offers FREE Lifeguard Certification Classes to those who commit to working at the YMCA upon completion of certification. Must demonstrate the ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness and demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
