The Lifeguard is a key member of the Aquatics team that is responsible for supervising the aquatics area to prevent accidents, assist swimmers, and respond to emergencies. Each member of our Lifeguard team creates a safe, positive and enjoyable atmosphere, promoting member safety and satisfaction in accordance with the YMCA policies and procedures. A Lifeguard builds positive relationships with members and program participants through effective listening and verbal skills.
