Job summary

Intel Corporation in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Yield Analysis Engineer to identify and solve yield and reliability challenges across the fabrication flow. You will analyze test data and conduct failure analyses to drive improvements in product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

The role requires strong data analytics, characterization techniques, and collaboration across teams to accelerate root-cause understanding and support NPI ramps and HVM yields.

Qualifications

• Background in yield analysis, failure analysis, or process integration in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Statistics and data analytics (yield modeling, SPC, DOE, correlation analysis).
• Wafer sort testing, defect metrology, E test, and/or fab data systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct yield analysis and failure investigations to identify root causes and recommend solutions to improve manufacturing yields and reliability.
• Analyze end-of-line test data, process parameters, and electrical measurements using statistical tools to extract meaningful insights and perform correlation calculations.
• Develop and implement advanced characterization and analysis techniques to enhance the efficiency and precision of failure analysis efforts.
• Perform electrical failure analysis (EFA) to address complex yield limiters across product development and high-volume manufacturing phases.
• Collaborate across teams to segment issues related to process, test marginalities, and product operation.
• Support process and defect characterization while developing innovative techniques to accelerate failure identification and root cause understanding.
