Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) in Chicago offers a Year-round Internship in Enterprise Quality Management. Interns will analyze requirements, create and automate test cases, and report defects while contributing to real projects affecting OCC’s Ovation and ETS applications.

The program is a 12-month, hybrid role with up to 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours in summer, capped at 1,000 hours.

Qualifications

• Rising senior or second-year graduate student, graduating December 2027 or May/August 2028.
• Major is Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
• Familiarity with Claude AI tools (Claude Chat and Claude Code) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and create detailed test cases for validating functions.
• Identify tests for automation and build a regression suite.
• Execute tests in the management tool and report defects.
• Automate manual regression test cases using the agreed framework.
• Write clear defect reports based on testing results.
• Attend daily scrum and participate in retrospectives.
