Job summary

OCC is seeking interns for its Summer Internship Program in Chicago to gain hands-on experience in testing and quality assurance within financial services.

As part of the ETSQA team, you will create test cases, automate regression, report defects, and participate in daily scrum; open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in college. The program runs 12 weeks with a hybrid work arrangement, typically 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Rising senior or second-year graduate student with expected graduation in 2027/2028.
• Major in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Interest in software testing/QA and automation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and create detailed test cases for validating functions.
• Identify automation opportunities and build/maintain regression suites.
• Execute tests in test management tool and log defects.
• Automate manual regression tests using the agreed framework.
• Write clear defect reports based on testing results.
• Attend daily standups and provide input during retrospectives.
