Job summary

Fairbanks Materials Inc. in North Pole, AK is seeking a Concrete Production Laborer for a full-time, year-round on-site position. Responsibilities range from unloading shipments to fabricating and tying rebar, and loading out products for customers.

The role requires physical strength, safety compliance, and flexibility to work overtime to meet deadlines. Benefits include paid time off, holidays, disability and life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with profit sharing, depending on hours worked.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screening prior to employment.
• Must adhere to safety requirements and company policies.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work overtime to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain precast forms.
• Place rebar in precast forms.
• Assist with concrete pouring, finishing and removal from forms.
• Cut and bend rebar.
• Tie rebar.
• Load/unload rebar for vendors and customers.
• Operate and maintain light machinery.
• Process orders and meet deadlines, with overtime as needed.
• Assist with daily clean-up of forms, shop and yard.
• Other duties as directed by the Operations Manager and Foremen.
