Job summary

Stuart Contractors LLC is seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator to join our civil construction team in the Bowie, MD area. This full-time, year-round role offers steady work on active job sites and requires experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment with emphasis on excavators.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Strong excavator operating experience required.
• Experience working in civil/site construction is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, generally 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with hours varying based on project needs.
• Willingness to work overtime when available or required.

• Safely operate excavators, skid steers, loaders, dozers, rollers, and other construction equipment
• Perform excavation, grading, material handling, and general site work
• Assist crews with daily site operations as needed
• Follow company and jobsite safety procedures
