Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a lawn application or fertilization technician.
• Valid Ohio Applicator's License.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate lawn care equipment.
• Ability to drive and back up a truck and trailer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers and pesticides to lawns, trees, and shrubs per schedule.
• Perform weed control, shrub care, aeration, and related lawn care services.
• Follow ODA regulations and proper application methods.
• Inspect properties and perform follow-up visits as needed.
• Assist with lawn evaluations and estimates.
• Educate customers on lawn and landscape care.
• Provide professional customer service at each visit.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and clean work areas.
• Follow safety policies; assist with snow removal in winter.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
