The Vivian Olum Child Development Center at the University of Oregon is seeking qualified individuals for an open pool to fill early childhood teaching vacancies for the 2025-2026 academic year. This pool is for regular, ongoing positions with 1.0 FTE and hourly pay in a year-round program.

Positions involve planning engaging curricula, building relationships with families, and maintaining a safe, collaborative classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from a recognized program.
• A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
• A minimum of twenty semester hours (thirty quarter hours) of college courses in Early Childhood Education or Child Development; AND one year of experience in a certified day care center or comparable program.

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement an educational, developmental, full-day year-round childcare program.
• Collaborate with co-teacher to plan curriculum and observe children.
• Interact with children and families; observe and assess development; supervise staff and student workers.
• Maintain safety and continuity of the program across classrooms.
