Job summary

ABC Home & Commercial Services in Austin, TX is hiring Landscape Crew Members to complete customer landscaping projects with professionalism and friendly service. You will follow sales agreements, use equipment, and prepare sites for installation or maintenance work on our customers’ properties.

This role requires outdoor work in varied weather, a valid driver’s license (preferred), and the ability to work a full schedule including occasional Saturdays during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to application.
• Landscaping and light construction experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to work outside for long periods, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure.
• Experience with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines for your service route.
• Dependable and self-motivated with a year-round work mindset.
• English speaking preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with customers’ expectations and sales agreements and follow the work specifications for your crew.
• Learn and use all equipment as directed by the Crew Leader.
• Prepare the work site including digging, sweeping, removal of objects/plants, and light construction work.
• Remove or install trees, shrubs, palms, plants, sod and mulch as per contract.
• Learn basics of construction work and gain ability to work on small projects in new construction and repair.
• Clean the work area and haul away debris once work is complete.
