Job summary

High Concrete in Denver, PA is seeking a Yard/Material Handler for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM start). The role involves moving products from production to yard storage and preparing shipments to job sites. A 3:00 PM start with a $3.00 per hour shift differential for hours 5 PM to 5 AM is offered.

Ideal candidates can work outdoors year round, hold a valid driver’s license, and have equipment operation experience. Start pay is $21.00 per hour with full benefits for eligible employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hooking up products for loading and unloading.
• Setting blocks, evaluating pieces with wood blocks.
• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Use of hand signals to escort equipment operators for setting, lifting or maneuvering production pieces during loading/unloading process.
• Operate electronic handheld scanners for verification of production pieces during storage process.
• Gather shims, steel blocks, homosote, rack pins, and wood blocking used for the days production.

We are actively seeking Yard person/Material Handler to join our 2nd Shift - 3:00PM start time team.

Material Handlers/Yardperson are responsible to assist in performing duties to ensure the proper and safe handling of products from the production areas to yard storage. Also, to ensure a smooth and safe flow of products from the storage areas onto trailers for shipments to job sites.

Ideal candidates will be able to start work at 3:00 PM, Sunday- Thursday You will receive a shift differential of $3.00 per hour for any hours worked between 5 pm and 5 am.
