Job description

At High Concrete, we don’t just pour concrete, we shape skylines and bring bold visions to life.

We are actively seeking a Yard Person CDL A to join our 1st or 2nd shift team at our Springboro, Ohio Plant.

Shift Details

• 1st Shift starts at 6:00 AM and works until the work is done.
• 2nd Shift starts at 11:00 AM and works until the work is done.
• You will receive a shift differential of $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 5 pm and 5 am.
• Overtime/time and a half starts after 8 hours worked each day.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hooking up products for loading and unloading.
• Strip yard products from forms.
• Store products out in the yard.
• Operate company equipment to move material, load and unload trucks, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Use hand signals to escort equipment operators during loading and unloading of production pieces.
• Operate electronic handheld scanners to verify production pieces during storage.
• Gather shims, steel blocks, homosote, rack pins, and wood blocking used for the day’s production at the start of shift.
• Operate mobile crane as required.
• Approximately 10% of the job is driving; the remainder is yardperson work.

Qualifications

• CDL A required – Manual.
• One year of experience in the precast/pre‑stressed concrete industry preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Certified equipment operator a plus; travel lift and/or tow motor a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
