Job summary

Calumet, Inc. seeks a Yardman/Laborer at the Great Falls Refinery to perform plant operations and maintenance tasks safely. This full-time position offers a one-year probationary period and benefits.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, lifting heavy loads, climbing ladders, loading trucks and railcars, and supporting maintenance activities. The role requires a high school diploma and willingness to work rotating day/night 12-hour shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial experience preferred.
• Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Purpose

The Yardman/Laborer position will be responsible for safely performing the basic tasks required for operations and maintenance of the facility at the Great Falls Refinery. This is a contingent position with full time hours and benefits with a one (1) year probationary period.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety rules and operating procedures to support zero tolerance safety objectives.
• Climb ladders, tanks vessels

Required Education/Experiences

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Must be able to work in a rotating (days/nights)12-hour shift to include weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary (Hands On) outside in all weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 or more pounds
• Able to climb on and off towers, ascend and descend ladders, and should not have a fear of heights
• Occasionally work in areas outside of normal duties as required
• Ability to wear a respirator as needed for tasks

Competencies

• 3-5 years of industrial experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
