Job description

About the Job:

The primary focus of this position is to ensure that WillScot Storage Units and Offices are cleaned, repaired, and in working condition for rental. This role involves performing a variety of general labor tasks.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Yard Worker, your responsibilities include:

• Cleaning, repairing, and ensuring all Storage Units and Offices are ready for rental, including repairs on customer sites such as:
• Sweeping and hose-out
• Checking A/C systems
• Replacing flooring
• Repairing drywall
• Cleaning windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls
• Replacing light bulbs, locks, blinds, door handles
• Painting, minor welding, minor electrical repairs
• Performing repairs for units in the field and documenting work
• Maintaining supplies and ensuring the yard is organized and safe
• Operating equipment like forklifts for loading/unloading
• Performing other duties as assigned; regular attendance is required.

Equipment You Will Use:

• Mops, paint tools, drywall supplies, welder, floor cleaners, maintenance tools, electrical hand tools, gas-powered forklift, computer for timekeeping.

Education and Qualifications:

• 0-2 years' experience in general labor and repairs
• High School Diploma or GED
• Welding experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License
