Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $16/hr+

Job Responsibilities

Full Service

• Receive labels from the supervisor for parts to be pulled.
• Pull and retrieve parts from vehicles in the yard.
• Inspect parts and notify the supervisor of any damage.
• Stage parts for delivery drivers.
• Operate a forklift or order selector to transport parts within the warehouse.
• Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or bins.
• Respond to customer counter sales by receiving orders, pulling products, and loading them into customer vehicles.
• Verify in-stock positions for inside sales staff.
• Classify returns based on part condition and prepare inventory adjustment forms.
• Check in defective parts and process vendor returns.
• Sign off on deleted tickets, explaining reasons.
• Load trucks according to schedule and perform final checks.
• Return wheel cores to remanufacturing facilities.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
• Support continuous improvement of quality systems.

Self Service

• Operate forklifts or loaders to move cars.
• Clean debris from cars before processing.
• Remove batteries for testing and bring charged batteries to retail.
• Assist in staging or pulling cars in the yard.
• Walk the yard to remove debris from cars.
• Dismantle tires.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Wear all required PPE.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

0+ years of experience, with on-the-job training to learn duties and procedures.

Preferred Requirements

High School Diploma/GED; forklift certification beneficial.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Clear oral communication.
• Follow standard procedures; guidance provided by supervisor.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

May require standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Exposure to hazardous conditions, extreme temperatures, and noise. PPE required. Travel may be necessary.
