Job summary

Central Network Retail Group, LLC in Laurel, MS is seeking yard and warehouse associates to provide excellent customer service while handling merchandise, unloading and loading trucks, and assisting customers on site.

You will protect company assets, operate forklifts, stock the yard and warehouse, assist truck drivers delivering to homes and job sites, and help with contractor sales counter duties. Forklift certification and ability to lift 100 lbs are required; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and basic delivery experience required.
• Ability to lift and load up to 100 lbs and to climb ladders.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with the public.
• Must have basic math and reading/writing/speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and contractors in a friendly manner.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard/warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivering to homes and job sites.
• Load materials into customers' vehicles after verifying type and quantity.
• Maintain yard and warehouse in clean, orderly condition.
• Identify shortages and report to management.
• Assist cashiers and contractors as needed.
• Ensure safety and proper maintenance of equipment.
• Attend safety meetings.
