The role requires forklift certification, basic math, and strong communication; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift certification and ability to use forklift safely.
• Must have some delivery experience.
• Experience dealing with the public is preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Satisfactory reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers or contractors in a friendly manner.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivery of merchandise to homeowners and job sites.
• Load materials into customers' vehicles or delivery vehicles.
• Develop knowledge of equipment used for product movement.
• Unload incoming freight without damaging goods or equipment.
• Accurately build loads and prepare materials for delivery.
