Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a CDL driver in California to join our distribution team. You will load, deliver, and unload material to customer sites, perform safety checks, and assist with warehouse duties as needed.
Must be 21+ with a valid Class A CDL and clean driving record. Overtime and outdoor work may be required; team‑oriented culture with strong safety focus. Wage under a union contract with full benefits, including health insurance and paid vacation.

Must be 21 years or older and possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Must have current long‑form physical and medical card.
Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must be able to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Vulcan employees. Must display a professional and courteous attitude to co‑workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times. Must be willing to work in a team environment and assist co‑workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Must have the ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Must have the ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
The salary is prescribed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates will be placed according to union contract salary scale at $27.72 – 34.65 per hour.
