Job summary

Central Network Retail Group, LLC (CNRG) is seeking yard and warehouse associates to provide excellent customer service while handling merchandise, unloading or loading trucks, and assisting customers and contractors in the yard and warehouse. You will operate forklifts, stock and load merchandise, support drivers on deliveries, and help maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Prior forklift certification and some delivery experience are preferred; basic math and good communication are

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• Delivery experience preferred.
• Experience dealing with the public helpful.
• Basic math skills required.
• Reading, writing and speaking skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers or contractors in a friendly manner upon entry into yard/warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard/warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivery of merchandise to homes and job sites.
• Load materials into customers' vehicles or delivery trucks based on records from POS system.
• Develop expertise with forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Unload incoming freight carefully to protect goods and equipment.
• Assemble loads for delivery and verify quantities.
• Identify shortages and report to management.
• Maintain clean and orderly yard/warehouse.
• Assist with cashier or counter duties as needed.
• Support contractor sales counter functions as required.
