Job summary

Central Network Retail Group, LLC (CNRG) seeks a Yard Associate to provide excellent customer service while handling merchandise, unloading/loading trucks, and assisting customers in the yard and warehouse.

You will operate forklifts, stock yard materials, support truck deliveries, and ensure safety across yard operations. The role is hourly and involves physical work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification, delivery experience, experience dealing with the public, basic math skills, satisfactory reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Knowledge of lumber, building materials, and material handling is preferred.
• Must be able to lift and load merchandise weighing up to 100 lbs., climb a ladder, and maneuver safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers or contractors upon entry into the yard or warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivery of merchandise to homeowners and job sites using company equipment.
• Load materials into customers’ vehicles or on to company delivery vehicles, after validating type and quantity based on the record.
• Develop expertise related to operation of forklifts, warehouse lifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment used for product movement.
• Unload incoming freight and prepare for delivery without damage.
• Identify shortages and report to store management.
• Maintain yard and warehouse in clean, orderly condition.
• Assist cashiers or store personnel as needed at the register.
• Assist with contractor sales counter functions as necessary.
