Job summary

EMR USA Metal Recycling is seeking a Yard Utility Worker at our Green Isle site to support daily yard operations and assist with a range of tasks as needed. You will help move, sort and handle scrap materials and maintain a clean, safe work area.

This full-time, on-site role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, starting around $20 per hour plus benefits including health and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match, HSA/FSA, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to operate equipment safely.
• Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Move, sort and handle scrap metal and materials.
• Operate equipment to load and unload materials from trucks, trailers and containers.
• Assist with basic material processing, including dismantling small components and collecting loose material.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard.
• Greet and assist customers with unloading materials.

About the Opportunity

As a Yard Utility Worker at EMR, you’ll play a key role in our daily yard operations at our Green Isle site. In this role, you’ll support general yard upkeep and assist with a variety of yard tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
