Job summary

EMR is a leading metal recycling company focused on safety and teamwork. At our Green Isle site, the Yard Utility Worker supports daily yard operations, helping with upkeep and a variety of tasks that keep materials moving and customers served.

Responsibilities include moving and sorting scrap, operating equipment to load and unload materials, basic processing, maintaining a clean, safe yard, and greeting customers loading their materials. Monday–Friday, $20+ per hour, full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate equipment safely.
• Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

About The Opportunity

As a Yard Utility Worker at EMR, you’ll play a key role in our daily yard operations at our Green Isle site. In this role, you’ll support general yard upkeep and assist with a variety of yard tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation And Benefits

• Monday – Friday, no nights or weekends
