48forty Solutions is hiring a Yard Truck Driver in Northampton, PA. This role involves operating an automatic 53’ yard truck, performing daily equipment checks, and ensuring loads are secure to maximize efficiency and safety.

You will inspect products for quality, stack pallets, and, when needed, operate a forklift. A strong attention to detail and basic computer skills are required. Overtime may be needed in this role.

Qualifications

• Prior experience driving a yard truck or semi is a plus.
• Good math, language and reading skills with attention to detail along with basic computer skills.
• High degree of attention to prevent injuries; promote a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic Yard Truck to maneuver 53’ trailers in tight spaces.
• Perform daily equipment checks (fluids, filters, leaks) and ensure loads are secure.
• Inspect loads to verify security and quality standards.
• Operate a forklift to move pallets when required.
• Stack pallets or materials following inventory controls.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per Relogistics standards.
