Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is hiring full-time CDL Class A Yard Truck Drivers in Cincinnati, OH. Earn $31.25/hour with OT after 40 hours and average $65,000 annually, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Home daily with Monday–Friday night shifts (10 PM–6 AM) and some Sunday work when customers operate.

Responsibilities include yard work, trailer moves, drop and hook with about 24 moves daily and no-touch freight. Comprehensive benefits and Friday pay are included, with opportunities to advance across Penske

You will drive:

53' dry van trailers

Automatic transmission

Yard truck

What you will do:

Yard work and trailer moves

Drop and hook

Approximately 24 moves per day

No-touch freight

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

10 PM to 6 AM

Some Sunday work required when the customer is operating

Sunday shifts start at midnight and end at 6 AM

Average 40 to 48 hours per week

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
