Job summary

Penske Logistics in Clyde, OH is hiring full-time CDL Class A Truck Drivers. Earn $25.50 to $26 per hour with overtime after 40 hours, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a $1.05 shift differential (2 AM to 2 PM).

The role includes home daily service and annual safety incentives up to $3,000, with referrals up to $5,000 per driver. The driver will shuttle trailers, handle drop and hook/live loads, and maintain a professional demeanor with customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer violations.
• Must be able to work the required schedule and pass background and drug screening.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-Time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

After one year, pay increases to $27 per hour

You will drive:

• Late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks

What you will do:

• Shuttle trailers from plant to plant
• Drop and hook/live loads of manufacturing components
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Schedule:

• 5-day workweek with 2 consecutive days off
• AM and PM start times available
• Customer is production-based and may require unplanned overtime
• If Friday, Saturday, or Sunday production is scheduled, drivers are required to work their selected route or hourly shift, including full or partial production days

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
