Job summary

Penske Logistics in Cincinnati, OH seeks a full-time CDL Class A Yard Truck Driver. You will perform yard moves, drop and hook, and handle no-touch freight while remaining on a home-daily schedule.

This role offers a competitive $31.25/hour base, an average annual be $65,000 with OT, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. Work Monday–Friday, 10 PM–6 AM, with some Sunday shifts when needed, totaling roughly 40–48 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and domicile in the U.S.
• DOT medical card required
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English proficiency and ability to work the specified schedule

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Yard Truck Drivers

• $31.25/hour, plus OT after 40 hours

You will drive:

• 53' dry van trailers
• Automatic transmission
• Yard truck

What you will do:

• Yard work and trailer moves
• Drop and hook
• Approximately 24 moves per day
• No-touch freight

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 10 PM to 6 AM
• Some Sunday work required when the customer is operating
• Sunday shifts start at midnight and end at 6 AM
• Average 40 to 48 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
