Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Minnesota seeks a Package Handler to move trailers, load and unload packages, and sort items safely in the yard. You will assist with trailer switches, coordinate movements, and document activities using yard systems. A valid driver’s license and DOT file are required.

Prior experience is not necessary, but attention to safety is essential. Pay ranges from $21.75 to $25.75 per hour with Sunday–Thursday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a DOT file.
• Ability to interpret numbers and information to sort packages correctly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to and from doors and yard.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Apply yard switching safety procedures.
