Job summary

ICU Medical is seeking a Warehouse Yard Spotter to safely move trailers and containers throughout the distribution center yard, conduct pre-trip inspections, monitor refrigeration unit settings, and report maintenance needs.

The role requires operating a yard tractor, maintaining yard inventories, communicating with dispatch, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient yard operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum warehousing experience and yard spotting preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Good verbal and written skills.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Forklift certification is required; stand-up forklift preferred.
• Pallet jack certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections of yard equipment and report findings.
• Safely operate a yard tractor to move trailers.
• Position trailers at dock doors per dispatch.
• Maintain inventories and document locations and status.
• Report damaged equipment promptly.
• Complete required reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of yard areas.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform other yard-related duties as assigned.
• Assist in loading, palletizing, and shipping as needed.
• Use handheld RF scanner for inventory tasks and data entry.
• Adhere to safety and GMP guidelines.
