Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year experience operating a yard tractor and/or tractor/trailer combo.

Responsibilities

• Drives yard tractor to move trailers/containers on company premises.
• Inspects equipment and reports truck condition.
• Assists warehouse workers in loading/unloading trucks.
• Follows RF queue instructions to maximize equipment turnover.
• Directs outside drivers to proper yard locations and enforces safety procedures.
• Practices safe driving and maintains tidy, safe work area.
